    Hello,
I have a 2018 Tacoma TRD Off-Road, crew cab. I am usually fairly mechanical and can work my way through most of my Tacoma maintenance services. But this one has me confused. So I wanted to upgrade my interior lights to LEDs. I found a fairly well reviewed supplier and got the LEDs shipped. I went to install the the first one, the center dome light. Dang if I didn’t mess it all up. The LED went in, but didn’t work. I remembered that the post here had said that they were polarity sensitive. So I went to remove the LED and turn it around. It lit up as soon as I touched the terminal. As I was trying to push the LED light into the slot, it went out. Now it will not turn on again. I checked the map lights and they are dead as well. I think that I blew the fuse. Problem is that I can’t find the correct location for the fuse. I thought that it was under the hood. I have had no luck with any of the fuses in this location. I checked the owner manual and it indicated that there is another fuse location under the dashboard. Well, I guess I am just going blind because I have not been able to find it. It is a 2018 Tacoma TRD Off-Road, 4 door, I guess that is the “crew cab”. Any chance any of you Tacoma owners have a 2018 and know if the under dashboard fuse box actually exists? If so, please let me know where I can find it.

    Thank you very much,

Lay on the driver's floor mat and look up.
