Where it’s made

I’m curious of which Tacoma’s are built where. I’ve heard that the DCSB’s are made in Baja vs San Antonio? Also I believe they are re-tooling Guadalajara to begin assembling Tacoma’s there as well. I don’t think there are quality differences in the different plants I’m just curious about supply chain.

If you own a 2016-> reply with trim style, transmission and first number on vin, should be a 3 or a 5

From what I saw with the 18's, most 3.5 automatics are made in Mexico.

The standards were in Texas.

 

I gave up I couldn't find it, so I'll go first.

Mine Is Mercian made

 

My 17 mtdcsb was San Antonio
My 18 atdclb was baja

Potentially but the demand for the manual transmission is small. I could see them Doing them all at one spot. They’re so rare I had 3 guys test drive my truck while working out the deal. One of them was literally sitting there waiting just in case I said “no” to the deal.
