I have the 2lo mod and have used it, in some steep hills. I do know that the truck drives quick in the higher rpms. I stomp on it all the time. I’m just saying, I’m jealous of those rc60f ratios.

Try driving 10 yards of concrete with a 9 yard cement mixer in the hills …my ass could suck the seat off the floorboard, and often did. op, rev the truck and relax

Have experienced the exact same thing. 1 gear lower and put in 4x4 is best option I have found

Your 2gr doesnt make any power until 3800 rpm. let it live its life. you're keeping the poor animal chained where it wants to run free.

You got me thinking about the 2 lo. I just don’t use it that much, it’s pretty flat mostly, and I’m not backing up/down any inclines cautiously. So today, I had to switch it on while out and about. Let’s say, I’m not driving faster than 35 in 2lo, prolly 33, but the real decision to be made is; should the whine from the transfer case be louder or should it be the rpms that whines louder? lol. 2lo is insane, it’s a blast. I think it scares the shit out of everyone witnessing it.
