Hey, just got a 22 Tacoma SR5 this week. Ordered an SS0 Slim Hybrid bumper and Pro Grille bronze, and TRD skid Plate. Planning on raising it a couple inches and adding some wheels when the tires need replacing. I really like the way yours sits and love the wheels and tires. I know Next To NOTHING about truck mods, raising, etc. Curious what you did to yours? How much you raised it, size tires, how you raised it. If you don't mind?

Bought and installed a Pro grill/garnish from YOTATRIBE a few weeks ago. Fit perfectly and no pre-collision faults. It has been 50-80 F since install.

This morning, it had snowed (dusting) and 25 F out side. The garnish is clean. Pre-collision is OFF warning on dash. Went to the store (15 min drive) and came out to drive home and no pre-collision OFF warning.

    Anyone else have this issue?

Funny you mentioned them because I was able to get one from them. Looks perfect and can’t wait to put it on the truck. Now waiting for Taco garage garnish.
    Thanks Mate

Wasn't sure if it was already mentioned but when you ordered from autonation south austin, did you have to enter a VIN?

Check their website and try to place and order and there should be an option to enter your vin if not they might message you to get it. Toyota requires a VIN to sell the grill. I got one from Cars .com

A lot of trucks have them agreed. I like the look and the price was right. On my Gen 2 I spent $600 on a color matched mesh grill from HomerTaco, it was a work of art. The truck was totaled a year later by someone running a red light. Different route in the Gen 3.

My brother has a plain black mesh grill on his sport. I love it because I always know its him in traffic and it's just different. I have a pro grill because I have a pro, I do like the offroad grill nowadays though.

The OR grills are a lot better, I was going for more black to compliment the Cemint color

I ordered an OEM TRD Pro grill from dealer for my 21 OR. Didn't realize I ordered a TRD Pro grill with camera hole. I don't have front camera. Now I need to order bracket and fill cap - found that info on this great forum.

    Question:

Given the TSS sits a little lower on TRD Pro grill, Is a subwire harness needed (saw this on some other thread).

    P/N 86799-04020
    https://parts.olathetoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-wire-harness-8679904020

Update: Was able to use existing harness but it was a shorter connection. Did not use one of the plastic cable tie mounts as it would have put too much strain on the harness. All good.

Hit a bird, broke my stock Sport chrome cheese grader grille. Wasn’t going with another stock replacement for $350, so I ordered a clone with Toyota letters. Installed. It will do and looks better than my stock original.

The truck saved my daughter's and her boyfriends life. The kicker was the kid who ran the stop sign tried to drive away and got >100 yards away before his car died

I placed an order with camelback toyota for the black pro grille, garnish, and camera bracket; and it was cancelled this morning because OOS. I'm trying my luck with autonation for the grill and garnish. I used a VIN off autotrader.

Has anybody had any luck ordering PT228-35200-20 lately?
