Bought a 95 tacoma and it needs a headliner. Problem is it's a bow type. Does anyone know where a replacement can be bought? Or what have you done in the past.

Online genuine one looks to be $507 to $660 plus ship depending on model of tacoma. Just looked at them for you, but did not check availability on them.

If you want to go that route then here is the factory parts list for you so you can look up which part number fits. Handy thing to have anyway so worth downloading.

Not sure how trying to find used would work. Age will have perhaps shrunk them, made them brittle or too tough to take off and refit on a different truck. Maybe not though. You could have a look on this site for people parting trucks or post a want ad on there. Maybe eBay or craigslist might be worth a look.

Might be worth running it by some local auto upholstry/trim places or at least calling them. You might be able (not priced it so no idea) to get one done cheaper. May not be exact factory though.

    Cheers

Thanks for finding that. The only place that can make one is up in NC and he qouted me around 650. I'm probably going to find a headliner board from a junkyard and just do away with the bow type headliner.

Will the later models' headliners (non-bow type) fit in the '95.5? I also have a bow type headliner that is tearing along one of the seams. It would be nice to install the newer type...
