Who are you all buying rock sliders from? Right now from what i have seen from reputable places the shipping kills the price.

Demello is in corona area and makes decent sliders.

Yep, I think that's why many people go local when it comes to sliders. That said, you've got the option of Demello out towards the Inland Empire. Do local pickup and save on the shipping.

Corona is only about 45 minutes from me, so that would work. Any of you have their sliders? How are they holding up? Bolt on or weld?

I agree with @dome. Try to buy local and save yourself the shipping cost.

Bolt on. Solid AF! Holding up great! The fire roads I drive don’t even touch the sliders :anonymous:

Go local to save on shipping. Considering they are up to par of course.

My bad homie, forgot this was the internet and everything was a personal jab at everyone. Did not mean to offend anyone.

OP, sliders are awesome, having them is effective on and off road. You'll appreciate any brand you get.

Went with RCI because they met my criteria at a decent price and had the shortest lead time at the time (chose no top tread plate, bare metal, standard 20 degree, dcsb). Only took 2 weeks for them to be delivered to my door in SoCal. Plus they had a July 4th sale which saved me $62. ~$700 shipped

I didn't find out about some of the local guys until after I purchased otherwise I would have tried to stay local.

I had the same issue as you, wanted decent slider and sourced locally.

I ended up with demello hybrid sliders but wanted to use schmel in Lomita.

Ordered the hybrid sliders 2 weeks ago, about 1 week later schmel pm'd me saying hes making sliders again. I just liked his design, price, and hes a one man shop but supporting local regardless.
