I'm looking at buying the OEM TRD LIFT shocks and it appears that they don't come with the lower perch when purchased individually. I can only find (1), yes only one when I search for part number B4-KT1-Z237A01. If there is another number I can use to find the top hat then please let me know.

I may just buy 5100's instead but kind of liked the idea of the OEM lift kit.

(Edited to change "top hat" to "lower perch")

The TRD lift kit reuses the strut mounts ("top hats") and coil springs from your stock front shocks. Even if you went with the non TRD-branded 5100s, it's the same.

The strut mount is the same from '05-23, for all 6-lug Tacomas. KYB part number SM5640.

I appreciate the response. I may have my wording wrong. I currently have a 2023 TRD OffRoad. I'm under the impression that I will need the part that sits on the moveable spring perch and that this part doesn't come with the TRD shocks when purchased individually.

(Edited to remove my statement that referenced that "4600's")

So you're asking about the lower spring perch/seat that rests on the snapring? Are you certain the new shocks don't come with it?

They were there with mine, but I also bought the complete kit.

Just want to clear up possible incorrect information for future readers... unless you have changed your factory Bilstein shocks to 4600's, you will not have 4600's on an Off-Road from factory.

The factory Bilstein shocks are a smaller OEM style shock manufactured by Bilstein but without an official Bilstein designation.

4600's are an aftermarket shock with a larger body that replace factory shocks but without lifting.

I Googled the part number you listed in the first post; found 20 supposedly in stock at bilsteinkit.com, hope that helps.

I'm pretty sure that all (4) shocks are in this kit. It's unclear if the lower perch is included but maybe it is. It makes sense that it would be included. But I read somewhere here on TW that said this part had to be purchased separately. https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~taco_suskit~ptr13-35210.html

Thank you for correcting me. I'll edit my post to try to correct my inaccurate info. I agree that it's important to resolve info like this.... It's starting to appear I got ahold of some incorrect info.... which has led to this thread.

Thanks. Now I just have to find out if I actually need this part. It's unclear if this part is included when purchasing PTR-13-35210(all four shocks).

Looks like I'm not the first member to tell you the spring seats were included either. @pauldotcom told you the same thing 2 weeks ago.

Yes, I think you're getting out over your skis at this point. Wait until you have the shocks in-hand before you start worrying about included parts being missing.

Good point. But yall have to realize that not everyone is a young wiper-snapper at searching for things. To make matters worse, I tend to been hard headed. But being able to confirm if the perches are included will have a factor in helping me decide to go with 5100's or TRD lift shocks. I get it that they seem to be the same thing. I can get all for Bilstein 5100's delivered for $440. If I can get the TRD lift shocks for $350 delivered, then I'll do that. Now that I think of it, if I have to spend another $75 on the perches, they will still be cheaper than the 5100's.... and be less eyebrow raising when my truck goes back to dealer for it's checkups.
