where to do taxes???

    I usually use H&R Block's online service since my return is fairly simple and I meet the qualifications for free file. Even though I have done volunteer tax preparation using much more advanced software the H&R free file is just easy. Definitely worth a look as theirs is free for a 1040 and 1040ez if you meet the income and a few other qualifications.

    It is H&R Block (the old tax cut)
    It is free to file both fed & state.
    Been doing it this way for last couple of years.
    Have house & investments so I do the long form

    I have used the online version of H&R for several years. Works well, integrates to the state taxes. I used to buy software but avoid now since online is so good. I have only paid someone to professionally do mine once.

    i do it the old skrool way, ...IRS Form 1040 by hand... i do schedule A w/ deductions as well.. doing it this way is a PITA, but you know where your money goes... ;)
