Where to get deck plates?

    Whats up guys. First off this is my first truck and my first post, so please excuse my ignorance. Been reading about the deck plate mod and seems like something id like to do but where have you guys been getting the deck plates ive been seeing in the pics. Thanks for any help. Oh and by the way i LOOOVE my truck! :D

    mine came white also, just some outdoor flat black krylon paint will do the trick

    I went to local west marine and all they had were two white 8" deck plates. Ill have to hunt around a little. Thanks much for the info guys.

    lol yea right. ill find one this week ill go over to another marine shop. closest bass pro shop is up in manteca about an hour and a half away. does any one know where they have them for sure in fresno?

    deckplate mod, bfg at's, spray on bedliner, flows40, k&n drop in, wet okole's, 10" JL sub, kenwood deck, memphis mids, zapco amps, glock 17 9mm holster
    what if i didn't get the deckplate and just left a hole in my airbox. i dont off-road much anyway

    OME 881/N91S - front Wheeler 5-pack/N85 - rear
    The deckplate just gives a cleaner "finished" look and allows you to seal it back up when offroading/fording/washing your engine bay. If you don't care about those things, you can just cut a hole without issue. I'd center it and cut a nice 4" circle so you could enlarge it to the shape of a deckplate should you desire to later.
