I have an Aeroforce gauge that I would like to add the oil pressure function to. It has a 1/8" NPT sending unit. I believe I read the factory unit is BSPT. For those that have added a gauge, where did you get your adapter? Mostly, I'm looking for a "T" to have the factory sender and the aftermarket.

I went to a local hardware store that has everything, and they did not have anything. Online I've mostly seen a single NPT to BPST adapter, but not sure I want to get rid of the factory unit.

I don't want to use a sandwich adapter for two reasons: 1) Would like to install a factory oil cooler one day and 2) because I've heard some people have issues with them. However, it would make it easier to install my oil temperature gauge... which I have no idea where I'm going to install.

Thanks for the McMaster part #, I will check there and my local NAPA. :):)

Wow... I guess it does work. Well, I'll leave it as an option, since I have the oil temp sending unit sitting in a box. I'd hate to have spent the money and not use it. Still, people claiming leaky units bothers me (not necessarily on Toyotas).

When you do the sandwich plate, you need to make sure the seal compresses. I have noticed some that the central bolt is a little too long. Mine had to be trimmed slightly.
