Where can a pole/rod be found for a 2wd jack? Do the 2wds and 4wds use the same jack assembly?

Most of the salvage yards in this area don't have the current model Tacomas in them. Is there another Toyota that uses the same jack pole/rod?

Yes, I am buying used. It is from a dealer. I would like to get the truck soon so I am not interested in having the dealer hunt for one (I am already having him fix some door dings and a slight dent in the roof's sheetmetal - nothing major, just where something small fell on top of it). It is one of those cases where I would hope it would be easy for me to find and cheap to purchase. Everything on ebay is a jack and rod. I just need the three piece rod.

    Thanks

What sort of jacks do you guys use? I have the stock one that comes with a Tacoma but with a 3" lift and bigger tires it really seems like it won't be up to the task.

    Clazzio seat covers,
Dealer shouldn't be selling a vehicle, even if it is used, without a proper operating jack ... just my opinion.
