No. I don't, but I'm thinking about it. Interesting that raingler may not be so 'customer friendly'.

Yeah if you read through the posts it definitely seems like people have not had great experiences. Granted it's a very small sample group to base my assumption off of, but it's still a bit off-putting...

It is really a shame that anyone had a poor experience. Totally against the focus as a manufacturer in the off-road community since we started in my own single garage 20 years ago doing suspension, axle builds, countless other mods to my own rigs, including designing and building cargo netting since nobody at that time seemed to make what I wanted for my own.
It's a handcrafted, near-bulletproof built cargo net and we continually try to incorporate customer feedback into the products. Continual evolution makes the gear better, and our ability to assist when problems do (and will) occur.

We have updated some of the hardware to address the slickness on certain model Tacoma based upon owners feedback regarding Toyota's OEM hooks in back. Please reach out if you had an issue with one of the older kits and we will update and upgrade you at no cost. (See images below for D ring conversion)
My direct email ed@raingler.com for this or any other product questions. Here are the updated videos for 2-3 gen Tacom double and Access Cab models:

Yea... Totally still a dick move to only give me a partial refund for a defective product. You do realize you guys didn't give me a full refund for the defective net you sent me? I'm still pissed, so I'm going to rant:

I really tried to make the net work and was way more than patient as you guys uploaded instructions that were not included in the kit to youtube for a nearly $200 item I had bought that came with no instructions in the first place (it came with instructions for a T4R). I should note this video no longer exists. Then, after patiently working with you guys, I asked for a refund, had to argue for it, and only was refunded for the net - not the mounting kit or shipping.

That just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I would have been glad to work with you on figuring out a v 2.0 that fixes breaking the handles, or maybe mounts a different way that works better. But nah, let's just partial-refund this guy and move on to the next sucker.

    Anyone wanting this consider:
    - You have to drill fairly large holes into a structural member of the truck to mount this (the support between front and back doors)
    - This denies you usage of the rear handles, and any sort of a load will BREAK the factory handle mounts, dumping your stuff
    - If you put ANYTHING in the net on a 3rd gen even after using some zip ties to make it tight, you won't be able to see out the back window and no passengers will be able to sit in the back without the net on their head
    - Service is unavailable other than during the middle of business hours on Mountain time, assuming you're lucky
    - If it doesn't go according to plan, they won't refund you
    - Installation is a total hassle - I spent hours and mine still didn't work

I have 2x 3d printers and a small fabrication shop in my basement. I have tons of custom work I did with factory electronics on my truck (relay bank, switch panel, autocutoffs, dedicated comms circuits, etc). I weld. I did my CMC, lift, cut HC rear bumper, and front winch bumper all myself. I'm not an idiot, I'm a technical man who does all his own work. I do IT for a living and am REALLY GOOD at following directions. That said - no amount of well-worded directions will make this product not suck. Avoid it.

    Looks like a Raingler one.

    https://raingler.com/

I was after one of their attic nets for my XTerra when I still had it. They have all different options that you can add to the webbing. They’re real popular with the Nissan guys, seem to be very well made. They also sell discounted blem products from time to time

Okay I'm gonna bring this one back from the dead...

I had the raingler net (2nd hand from a wrecker off a 3rd gen for $30 Cdn) and it was just bullocks the net itself is well made but it's too big and won't tighten without popping out the side door handles and the front is too long to tighten properly so stuff won't spill out the front of the net with a hard break or rough trail. I would not pay 30 for it again def wouldn't pay almost $300 (Cdn remember our exchange rate is crap) for it EVER.

The net sags with anything in it really to the point you can't see out the back window and if you're taller than 5'2" then its gonna hit your head while you're in the back seat. Again net quality is nice would have been better to have the mesh I think but unless they change the design of the net to allow it to be taught across all 3 securing locations I'd stay away like I said above I wouldn't pay $30 for it again.

I now have a blue ridge overland cargo attic I got as a gift for my BDay and all i can say about it is Meh it's not great it's too small to be really useful all I could get into it was a puffy coat(rolled and stored in it's own hood as it was designed for backpacking) touque mitts and even then with the para cord they used to tighten down and hold things stuff still kept falling out when breaking or on rough trails. A benefit of it not being as large is atleast most of the time the stuff just fell onto the back seat instead of hitting me in the head........ so that's a plus I guess.
I was able to fix this by replacing all the para cord with small gauge shock cord from MEC (like REI but for us canucks) and that helped hold things in place but I had to double lace it as the way it comes from blue ridge is not adequate to hold anything in.

It does droop down a bit and slightly blocks my rear window but not nearly as bad as the raingler net did and if your 5'4" it will still hit your head but hey that's better than the other one again. Again though I'd not pay more than 15 bucks for this thing as it just really isn't big enough to do much and needed a re work to even function properly with out everything falling out all the time......

So long post short I wouldn't buy either of these nets. Make your own or get the hard mount molle panel from MESO throw some shock cord loops up and it will be FAR better than either of these nets.

But this is my opinion on a thread that's almost a yr since the last reply but incase you're new here like me I just wanted to hopefully save you some money.

Seriously don't buy either the blue ridge attic OR Raingler tacoma 2015+ roof cargo net they are a waste of money.......

Appreciate your feedback, truly, honestly do. It’s how we continually improve what we build.

I have no idea how old that unit was but we did recently change the process in which we build these to instead of being a pouch to drop the gear in to being a flatter and tighter design and just using the drop straps to gather more gear. These look essentially the same but the center does not have the looseness to it with the outer perimeter being slightly larger than the older units.

Being a small family owned and operated and USA made manufacturing business allows us to listen, learn and adapt as we best can based on owners feedback. We never stop trying to make a better product, or change what and how we do things. This is what we have been doing for 20 years and will continue.
