I was out cruising around today and stumbled across this. The road ends and trails begin here. My truck is new to me so I did not go very deep in, but I was just curious if anybody knew anything about this place. Saw no trespassing at Campbell and GB. None at this place. Dropped Pin

dang man, sounds like you're going all over the place! That looks like a great and easy way to get on the shore of the lake. I found a place that does the same at Ray Hubbard

Looks like it some trails that lead to the lake. From Google Earth that part of the lake is covered in trees. Could make for good kayak fishing.

Not yet. I am looking to get one next year. I have had a few boats and would like something with a little less maintenance.

Oh, okay. I do no maintenance on my kayak and it floats every time I take it out :D You should definitely get one. You can get in some really tight places

I am fully aware what a yak will do. I have a few friends with some and they are a ton of fun. Used a demo yak from sun and ski and it was a great time. Using them on the lower mountain fork river in Oklahoma is very effective for trout.

I wish I was a better fisherman...when I catch fish is all based on luck pretty much.

Did you try the hotel entrance or veridian? Veridian is by far the easiest
