Where to go off-road near DFW?

on 360 south coming from trinity the next exit is riverside parkway but before the exit there is a sign that says "riverside parkway" (go figure) the grass is flat right before that sign and that is the gateway to hell i mean the trail lol i got stuck there last sunday high centered like a mofo

Okay thanks! Now I have something else to look at on google earth! I looked at that one entrance where you drive until the road ends, but there is a fence all the way around it there

The gate that shows up on google maps is now gone.

 

doesn't matter you dont need that gate to get in. the entrance is the highway lol. as long as you remember the way back your golden

Just learned of another place in between lake Lavon and Ray Hubbard off 78. Anybody know anything about this location?

 

I've been on 78 quite a lot, and live close to Lake Ray Hubbard. Where is the exit for this place @MatthewMay1? I'd like to check the place out.

 

So a jeep just pulled up next to me told me there is a place at 820 and randol mills... Who wants to go check it out? He said there was over twenty trucks there last night and everyone is going again tonight

 

over 20 trucks!?!? Dang! I have no idea where that is....my 16 year old brain isn't too good with directions.

Well it's supposed to rain tomorrow later on so maybe we can check out those trails on Sunday

 

hmmm..... I was told about these trails off Randol mills the other day by a Tech at NTB. I am very curious to check them out myself too. I miss mosier valley!!!

 

Mosier valley was awesome... I still go out there sometimes but the grass has grown up on most trails and a lot of construction work going on down there these days

 

I haven't been in probably 4-5 years. I built this truck originally for mosier, a lot of my early pictures on my profile are from mudding at mosier before they started shutting down all the entrances. how do you still get out there? im down to try out the new place this weeknd if the weather permits.

sounds good to me let me know. This truck hasn't seen mud in awhile been doing more rocky trails lately. I dont even think these new tires have seen mud yet so would be nice to see how they do in it. ill PM you my number if you wanna hit me up when/if your going.

 

im looking at google maps and cant tell if its Randol mills east or west of 820. Both look like they have more open land, but cant really see were there would be a good off road area or entrance... The search continues.. think some of the wells sites may be my companies, if that's the cause may be able to talk to some of the guys on site and see if they know.

 

I was also told u can get to it off trinity... I'm sure we can figure it out, I did see some muddy trails off 820 in that area but not sure if it was the same thing

 

I'll be watching this thread more closely this weekend if I don't go out of town lol going to Texas off-road ranch in Huntsville with a bunch of Houston guys next Saturday if y'all wanna go
