Did you read the link I posted???

HIDs and LEDs suffer the same fate when you put them in halogen housings: They scatter the light because the reflectors in the housings are precisely designed for halogen bulbs. HID and LEDs project light differently than the halogen bulbs, so that light from HID or LED gets scattered differently.

If you want the best possible light without going through the effort and expense of a full HID retrofit (upwards of $1000), do the "proper headlight upgrade".

For housings, I suggest the CAPA certified ones from Rockauto (TYC brand). Mine were about $40 a piece, and the fit/finish is indistinguishable from OEM. They are just your basic OEM replacements, but are great quality. Worth the extra $10 a piece vs. the more generic ones from Rockauto or elsewhere.

If all you care about is what color your lights are, and don't care how well you can see at night or if you blind on-coming drivers, just get whatever random LEDs you want.
