Gotcha. I'll be sure to have one chambered when I am doing 70mph in the passing lane.

Sad what this world has become. Good old days are a bygone era and it seems to get only worse.

Has anyone determined a way to use the strong magnets they sell on Amazon (specifically for guns) to be used WITHOUT drilling into the plastic of your truck? I would like to use one of those magnets on the plastic near the driver's side knee-area of the center console. Would heavy duty double-side velcro be able to withstand the force of pulling the gun off? Thoughts?

Alot of guys (including me) have used this to attach the snorkle bracket that goes on the a-pillar. I installed it around 4 months ago and it's still holding strong. Maybe this will help

Just installed the Gum Creek holster mount in my DCSBOR. Bought the mount and an ambidextrous holster for my Springfield XDS .40 from Amazon with a pocket mag. Fits snug and its the perfect reach.

I carry an M&P 9c AIWB. If I'm going to be in the truck for more than 3 hours I toss it in the center console. I also run a side folder AK. It fits perfectly in the storage area behind the passenger side rear seat.

In the dash I keep a Glock19 and (4) 33rd mags. A Colt carbine will fit under the back seat with and mag pouch, you have to force it's closed but it will go. Plus two mag carriers behind the seat and a trama kit. If its stolen you can just buy another one. Its a tool, no different then a hammer, machete, crowbar, or shovel.

Why is it that WE are portrayed as irresponsible gun owners if our houses or vehicles get broken into and firearm(s) stolen??? WE are the victims! So, it's blame the victim time? It's OUR fault that we put a firearm "on the streets"? Should we be required to buy a strong safe to place our means of self defense into? "Excuse me Mr. Home Invader....give me a couple secs to open this safe while my adreneline and sense of confusion and surprise is off the charts". "Excuse me Mr. Road Rage Man running at me with the crowbar and now beating on my hood and window on your way to me.....I'll be right with you after I reach over to my secured and locked vehicle firearm safe". The "irresponsible gun owner" and "putting guns on the street" labels are just more catch phrases by the liberals and others who have been brain washed to place a stigma and guilt on gun ownership. But if one of them were in that house, or that vehicle, what you want to bet they'd wish they had a means of protection to save themselves? Especially if their family were there with them and about to get raped or murdered? But, no.....those things only happen in movies.....

It is in Massachusetts (where everything is illegal). If it is stolen, then you didn't have direct control over it...you can have a gun in only one of two places...in your locked safe or within arms reach.

Just making sure you know that is a knee bolster airbag that you have your gun mounted in front of...Used to be a great spot but with a 3rd gen that could turn into a really bad day.

Why, didn't you know, it can't be the criminals fault. He's the actual victim because he's suffered institutional racism or income inequality or unconscious bias or whatever bullshit slogan is popular this week. You and I MADE him steal your gun by leaving him no other choice. A locked door was simply not enough of a clue to keep his ass out. We deserve it actually.
