Just wondering if anyone else has installed the Tekonsha P3 brake controller in a late-gen 3 Taco - and where did you put it? No cubby on mine and I don't want to slam my knee in to it daily.

It seems like the best option might be to move those 2 switches to the right towards the steering column and then cut out the controller profile on the left.

I already have the Tekonsha controller, so please no "get the Redarc" comments.

    Thoughts?

I attached mine to the underside of the switches in your photo. I take mine out when not towing so no one steals it. So the bracket stays there all the time.

I picked up an older switch panel with the cubby for my 2023 since I already had the P3 and cubby mount panel. I am short one switch hole with the cubby panel, so the LSD switch is currently hanging behind the dash. I think Meso or another vender makes a switch panel with the cubby and a switch mount on each side which would have worked, but it cost about the same a the Redarc controller. I would like to get a harness extension and move the LSD switch to the center switch panel, but have not found the right connectors yet.

Yeah, in my last Taco I had tried it on both the right and left, and I was always hitting it with my knee.
