I'm looking at putting a led light bar on my stock 96 but can't figure out where to put it. I've searched the threads for ideas but most involve cutting parts of the grill, which I don't want to do, or mounting to a grill guard, which I don't have. I'd prefer to put it on top of the bumper in front of the grill but all the light bars I find would stick out a few inches from the bumper. I'm also considering completely under the bumper in front of the skid plate, but worry about it being too low to be effective.
Is there anyone who has mounted a light bar without any cutting of the grill or bumper, or has any better ideas?

I would see if you could make a couple tabs to mount behind the bumper. Like a thin tab on each side between the bumper and grille that stick out a tad. And mount the bar on that. Shouldn't stick out too far. Idk. Just an idea.

Doesn't involve much cutting. About 5 min with a hack saw. Only other thing it's good for is a tag anyways, and I find that light is more useful than a tag. And it's plenty effective.

Not really sure what you mean by this. Could you explain a little more

I would like to do it in that spot but my license plate is there which I have to have and I don't feel like trying to move it elsewhere
