Not saying there isn't more than one way to skin a cat, just make sure you have the proper rated fuses in the right spots. You want one between your panels and the controller, one between the controller and battery, and one between the battery and the inverter if you're running one. (The inverter may also have one built in)

I didnt know about the one in between the panel and controller. I assumed the controller had this built in.

Your Renogy 100w panel will make about 5.2 amps in full sun, so a 7.5 amp fuse would be perfect. The most important one is from the controller to the battery. Size it for whatever your controller puts out plus a little over. Like 25A for a 20A controller for example. If the controller fails it most likely will short the battery which is why that breaker is the most important.

I have a 10a fuse between panel and controller per Renogy’s recommendation. And a 30a breaker btwn controller and battery.

What type of cinch strap spool is that near your solar panel? Looks great!

I know you posted this a while back, but did you use an RV solar connector box?

For you guys that ran wire behind the cab how do you keep the wires clean and concealed without them just dangling down from the roof rack.

Popping back in this thread. Anyone tried to do this by feeding the cables through the cab window and using a gasket of some sort to seal it up?

looking at options to feed some renology wires to a Goal Zero power bank in my cab without having to drill any holes.

I also did a rear seat delete so could in theory run the cables through some of the holes in the cab behind the seat but would have to remove the storage I built.

Anyone got strong opinions/pictures of either option?
