I need a place to go shoot in DFW that will allow me to shoot surplus FMJ ammo. Anyone have any suggestions?
    Thanks

Alpine shooting range in Johnson co. Just south of Ft. Worth. Outdoors anything goes type of range.....meaning full autos and long range ammo allowed. Not sure if they have a website, but I'm sure you can google it.

I like Bullet Trap in Plano and Target Master in Dallas.

I thought South Dallas was a free fire area?

(CB Wiley, the Constable of Van Zandt county has a nice long range behind his gun store, but I always shot on the bottom lands behind my place out near Canton.)

Closest outdoor range to you in Frisco for FMJ/Full Auto/Rapid Fire is Magnum Sports in Sanger. No website. Just Google it for maps & reviews. I've only been once, myself, but the place has its regulars.

Next closest is Gibson's Outpost in BFE east Mesquite.

I went up to Top Gun in Trenton and shot off about 300 rounds the other day. I was mainly just getting acquainted with the gun and zeroing it in. I am going to try out Magnum and Gibsons next week.

The magnum place posted above is where I used to go its out in denton somewhere dont remember the address, but you could shoot anything you wanted, 50 cals you name it, just no explosives of course. It was just in an old river cannal next to their house, but was pretty cool. I would check them out was no one there shooting last couple times I went, but me and my friends so was just like shooting on your own property.
