    Is this verified?

    Both 3rd Gens I've owned (first is gone) were TX built. I've had no issues with either trucks , besides the whistling front control arms which they fixed quickly and a slight bed misalignment on the first truck as well

    I think they were running late on the Tacoma's and kept building 17s into November.

    Painted arm rests, 2011 front grille,Readylift for 5lug.
    Orange peel on the bottom of the vehicle is done on purpose to help protect against chips.All Tacomas have it.

    They were, in fact. I was watching a cement 2017 pro while I waited on my insurance company to cut me a check after my red pro got totaled.it sold 2 days before I could commit. It had an 11/17 build date on it.

    The paint actually looks like the surface of an Orange, we have the lower part of out Tacoma's with rough paint for chip protection.

    That is chip guard, not orange peel.

    As stated in the article, most will not notice it. I had the advantage, or disadvantage of working in a garage that also had a body shop in my youth. The foreman was meticulous with every detail of both shops.
    Great learning experience.

    Some of you are lying. A few configurations listed as being made in Texas have never been made at the Texas plant.

    My truck was made in North America
