Where will Tebow go?

My thoughts? It's a waste of a pick to take him that high. There were better players on the board and I just don't see him bein an impact player like he was in college. Guys are bigger, stronger, faster than him. He tries to play like he did in college and he'll be hurt real quick. So I say start him! nah I don't want people to get hurt...but it'll happen to him.

I'm real happy Clausen hasn't gone yet. Hoping Colt gets picked tonight, let Jimmy Sweat it out all weekend.

 

I think he has a lot of heart and may surprise many of you. Ya never know...

 

I think his first NFL surprise would probably go something like this:

Tebow: An opening! I'll scramble!
Ray Lewis/Jared Allen/Kris Jenkins/etc: No you won't.

Absolutely a waste of a first-round pick. I can't believe he went before Clausen & McCoy, though I don't really like either of them.

He'll learn pretty quick he can't be the same 'superman' he was in college... then Denver will quickly learn the mistake they made.


I just watched an interview of him on ESPN. I almost missed the rediculous run-on sentences where he just goes and goes without breathing, but without really saying anything either. Almost.

 

I forgot that Denver got Quinn. WTF were they thinking wasting that pick on Tebow???

 

Apparently Alabama recruited him pretty heavily, but our num-nut coach at the time couldn't close the deal. Whatever... we beat his ass last year.

I have been podcast a radio station that works with the Broncos organization, I've listen to his interviews saying his focus will be his defense. But instead went with his offense for 1st round picks. I don't mind them getting Demaryius Thomas to replace Brandon Marshall.

Here's my question: Why give up a 2nd, 3rd, AND 4th round pick to get up to the 25th spot to take him? Orton isn't bad, and Quinn is still a work in progress. He would have still been around in at least the 2nd round if they wanted him so badly, and they wouldn't have had to pay him 1st round money. They gave up WAY too much for him IMHO.

 

Being a Ravens fan, I am okay giving up that pick.

EDIT: This looks like the first one... Loss at LSU. I think the second one (above) is at home... so maybe their loss to Ole Miss in 2008? You know... the loss before he gave that rambling speech they put on plaque outside their stadium.

Yea, I don't care if you love him or hate him, you can't convince me, or the majority of the people, that he is worth a first round pick, and worth giving up a 2nd 3rd and 4th rounder just to get the 25th pick. That's not so much hatin' as just bein honest.
