    I have a 1700W amp and a 1600W amp. I'm running the amps at 1OHM.
I have a big 3 upgrade kit on order rated for 350amps.

Do i need a new alternator? Do I need a second Battery?

If your lights are dimming, you probably need to do something. IME batteries don't last long in that type of setting. You didn't say much about your amps though. Models? What are you using for wiring?

If your amps really are making 3,300W, then you're overtaxing your electrical (assuming it's stock). At 100% efficiency (impossible) that's 235 amps at 14V. With Class D topology, you might be getting away with as little as 250 amps. That conservative figure is more than your stock electrical can handle. I'm not sure what your alternator is rated for, but I'm pretty sure it's a good bit less than 250A + whatever the truck needs. 3300W usually needs an alternator upgrade and an additional battery to keep up with the current demands.

Stock heavy duty alternator with the TRD package I believe is 130 amps. Though I don't see how one could actually drive "listening" to 3,300w of music in the truck.
