All ribbing aside, those are great tires. I had them on my Dodge Ram and they were super quiet (for mud tires) and the sidewalls look great.

Throw a couple of DTs on the back end for some extra bite....and it's a blast.

Of course. But that snow pic I posted was in 15" of the white stuff. Never got stuck.

I was actually at work when the storm hit. 25 mile drive to get back home. Thankfully I had the DTs on. This is what the undercarriage looked like after 25 miles in 15" of snow.

Lol so 2wd trucks magically make the rocks smaller as we approach them so they don't damage our rocker panels?

And I guess mud & sand magically firm up when we get there so we don't need to have big tires?

Palm Springs Prerunner here....all day every day!
it's definitely more of a challenge but can make through a lot with the right suspension and knowing how to work that skinny pedal :headbang:

Agreed. But besides a little mud here and there....the DTs were bought just to give me more bite in the snow. So they serve me well. In the deep stuff they perform just as well as any dedicated snow tire I've used. In fact...it was their deep snow traction rating from The Tire Rack that caught my eye originally

Op... on a side note, are those xd rockstar 2 wheels? I like them and my wife has a new Jeep Wrangler unlimited and wants those or something similar. Looks good... you like them and they have been holding up good?

    Thanks!

She's been wheeled hard for a 2wd. Many trips to a local off-road park, the K-Trail, nasty forest roads in the Ouachita NF.

All it takes is good tires, little bit of ground clearance, driver mod, and knowing your limits.
