Thank you. So do I just need to go to the dealership and have them take a look at it?

If they know what they're doing 2 days is doable. What held me up was having to order a part in my rear bumper so they could put the trailer hitch on I bought.

well, this is supposedly their third swap, so maybe. but seeing as how they seem to always be off the wall busy whenever im in there id be amazed if they actually have two techs to put on this.

I had one tech working on mine and 2 days it was ready minus me needing the bumper support piece which had to be ordered. They take major components off as whole assemblies so it goes rather quickly. In 1/2 a day they had mine completely stripped, minus rear axel.

But if it's only their 3rd time it might not be as fast. Mine was number 44 at dealership and I believe 11 or so for the tech.

Yeah, that would speed things up a bit lol. I'm just hoping they don't charge an arm and a leg for the random broken bits I'm sure they will find.

    Alternator
    Transmission fluid and filter
4X4 fluid (transfer and both differential)
    4 tires

Can I ask you how much they charged you for the "parking brake adjustment", if there was any charge?

Someone stated the truck would need the parking brake cable adjusted during the swap, regardless. So...I guess there shouldn't be a charge.

I guess at the end of the day, $3500 might sound like a lot and maybe it is, but edwin pretty much has a brand new truck!

When I saw $3,500 I started to get really nervous.
Then I saw what extra work you had done.
I would assume that the parking brake cable adjustment would be covered under "And associated parts"

Most big bills people receive are for elective parts

For parking brake adjustment I got charged 70. I was told they cleaned my brake shoes and applied grease on the backing plate what ever that supposed to be.

I agree the work done is worth the $3500. I am, however, still curious if there was a charge for the pba. Just my inquisitive mind.
