Also I called nd asked about the transmission fluid and I did get my money back for the fluid but not for the filter. So it was like 25 bucks for the filter

I would personally ask for a rebate for the $70, since that should be part of a frame swap. Again, just my opinion. You did get a lot of work done and it should last a long time.

I brought my 2006 Tacoma in for the frame inspection today. The dealer filed a case with Toyota. They said they would contact me when it is approved. Does anyone know how long that takes?

Just a update my 2008 Tacoma just went in for the frame swap this past Saturday. They gave me a Rav4 to drive around for the duration. I had my inspection done back toward the end of July and was told my frame was in this past Friday . I was told it should be about 4 to 5 days to complete. Also it seems my dealer is doing the frame replacements on a 1st come basis and I was at the top of the list. So the longer you wait I would guess the longer the list and wait time.

For an update, I dropped the truck off Monday, they said it would take two days and I have yet to hear from them. I guess I need to call them and see what's up

Found out today that they wont charge labor for the rear shocks but they will for the fronts. Not to sure if the labor he quoted me was correct, he said about $270 per side which seems really high to me. That doesn't even include the shocks, not to thrilled about that.

1k for both of the front shocks? Damn! The ones I had on their are the original ones. Only 35k miles on them but are almost 9 years old. Not sure what to do.
