The 2.7L V6 Ecoboost is having some problems with condensation at highway speeds.

Over all that truck doesn't have that much more payload or towing capacity over the Tacoma. So if one wanted a full sized truck for full sized capabilities, the Ecoboost may or may not be worth the money.
Was looking at getting one and over all am a bit concerned with the true toughness of the engine. If it was made by Toyota, I would be much less concerned. Ford, don't get me wrong I've loved my trucks, but they ain't no Yotas.

Agreed. I wouldn't want the ecoboost 2.7 anyways, I'd stick with the 3.5

I had the 5.0 Coyote in my F150. I wouldn't own a full size truck with a 6-banger. even if it was ecoboost or whatever.

Why do so many people want the Sport instead of the O/R?

Hrm...I think a locking rear diff and even the a-trac system sounds more useful...

Edit: Well, reading some of the 2gen threads, it sounds like the sport is a nicer ride on pavement....

Why wonder that? Sell it, so you don't take a bath and give away $$$. It will be nice when you all start selling your brand new trucks on the used market.

Because the buyer wants the TRD logo on the rear and the sport costs less than the off road. They are street machines. The words 'hood scoop' and 'bigger wheels' also makes people think........??? I don't know why people think a non-functioning hood scoop and 17 inch rims on a truck make it better. But Toyota is making a killing on it

Because the color matched mirrors, handles, grill, and bumpers are so much better looking.

All the Offroad model prototypes have had the color match bumpers, mirrors, and door handles.
