i want 1.5'' to 2'' of lift in the rear. im reading that the LONG toytec AAL is best for a better ride. does it add payload capacity or is it mostly for looks?

the SHORT toytec AAL says its a harder ride. is it really harsh? will the SHORT AAL work with my factory overload leaf? will it add payload capacity?

I don't haul much but when I do its either a 17' boat, lumber, or firewood. my taco is also my everyday driver.

also should I upgrade my rear shocks to billys as well or leave to stock shocks on?

the front I plan on getting OME 885 springs (1.75") with billy 5100s set at .85"

If you're worried about weight, i'd look into a full leaf pack. OME Dakars are affordable. I carry a ton of weight and tow a boat, and they don't sag much at all. In past experience, AAL doesn't help much for weight. Ride quality is a little more stiff with a full on leaf pack when you're not carrying much as you'd imagine, but in my case it's worth it. When I get a minite I'll post two pictures of my truck loaded with ~600lbs and a topper, as well as unloaded to show you how well of a job the Dakars do.
