that aal fits from 95 to 3rd gens?

 

That’s pretty much a bone stock TX Baja. It’s a two inch rear
Lift and 1.5(ish) in the front. Trying to decide what route to go as I recently acquired Dobinsons MRRs for the front (not installed) and a deluxe bull bar ARB (also...) so, where ever my bank account leads me.

How is it compared to stock? THose are stock rear shocks?

 

I’m currently running deavers mini leaf pack that replaces the stock overload. 1” of lift

 

So... stock on a Baja is not stock on your comparable models. These Bilsteins are different.

-650lb coils
-Digressive shock valving
-Extended travel front bump stops (extends compression)
-Raw aluminum shock bodies
-Stainless braided rearreservoir line
-Rear brake line drop bracket


The AAL gave me more flex and is a bit stiffer (than failed springs). Also it clearly lifted my rig back to where it needed to be. I have taken it to Superlift in Arkansas and it did as well as I expected it to though I did not challenge it like I would have liked as I still don’t have sliders (dumb).

 

It looks like all aal's are made by one company and rebranded bu the selling company. I have the icons and it had Canada clearly stamped on it like everybody elses, I'm sure.

 

SO for me to get the icons its 315 canadian. that sound right? any other options in terms of where to order or even other aal in general?
the wheelers i can only get from their site and its like 115 for shipping which makes it almost the same as the icon

 

No experience with them, but Alcan can make custom leaf packs to your desired height and strength.

 

That sounds about right, man. They’re the same no matter who you get them from, so the better price is the way to go.

Spoke with another member who had done it . I believe Icon recommends not using the OL leaf also. It sure is a nice ride ..

If you want a cheap option I got a trail gear single AAL for under $100 canadian taxes in and installed it myself.

I think it rides great. The 3 leaf system gets most of the lift from the thickness of the AAL pack and the single AAL adds lift from the spring tension. The 3 leaf won't increase your load capacity much.
