Hmm maybe I’m mistaken but I could have swarn the 01-04 trucks with the facelift had bolt on bearing and hub assemblies. Maybe I was smoking rock and mistaken the 2nd gens for them

The hubs are different also in the pre runners, no splines for cv axles.

Are you sure he wants $650 for one set? I think he’s asking that for all three.

Yeah nope 100% sure he wants 650$ for 1 set. He said word for word “I know what I have and know they are hard to come by”

Well $550 now with no cv axles or tube.

I’m sure there is someone who will pay that but not me. Id rather pay $700 for all new parts and press em into my own spindal than pay $550 for old stuff with bearings about to go out.

what did that cost you? I did the math today and it’s around $680 in parts
    Locks+hubs+bearings and seals

Yeah... for that price I'll just clean up my originals. They're going strong at 214k.

I can’t seem to find any at pull a part yards these days. Car part says there are some near me but when I call they don’t have them. I know it’s expensive and when I think about the cost it stings but I’d rather spend a little more and have all new stuff. I have to remind myself that if I buy the used ones from the guy here and put new bearings in so there reliable I’ll be spending the same price as getting all new

Yeah I use car part.com and there are plenty but all the listings within 150 miles of me say they have none when I call. I’m finding out You can’t always trust car part.com it’s not always updated

If you can’t find manual hubs, you can always go for ADD. 4Runners has them so you have access to far more selection.

Well I don’t have the add transfer case I have a j shift. I do have a add front diff but I’d rather not have my cv axles spinning all the time since my truck is lifted.

Ok just bought my AISIN and manual wheel hubs $288 at rockauto. I decided not to get oem wheel hubs because to me it was worth not having those be oem to save $300. The lowest price I found oem one’s was $190 each and rock auto had some for $36 so I’m sure they’ll work fine if not Im not out a ton of money
