    Considering a house built in 1945. Stucco on outside. Noticed two of these cracks in the living room area. From what I understand many times these types of cracks appear after the house "has settled" from contraction and expansion over the years? Is this right??

    Those cracks could be related to foundation issues given the age of the home.
