101 blows... you'll need this :rain: because of this :crapstorm: because there's a lot of this :gossip: and everyone is out to do this to you :bananadead: Out of every squadron I have been to this has to have the worst politics. The transfer rate is so high and everyone that comes in is always trying to "fix" things.. been here for almost 2 years now.. Worst morale out of any command I've been to.. lol, but it's shore duty... On a better note, got a good bunch of guys that work for me.

Yeah dont trust em' they are just trying to fill spacesin certain fields. They told my nephew that all the infantry slots where full and he needed to go radio operator because that would be the closest to being a grunt! HAHAHAA so funny what these guys will pull. I want to choke that recruiter.

All you have to do to get what you want is say well, Thats what i want so call me if there is an opening! plain and simple and within a month he will be knocking on your door. if you havent been to the MEPS center and raised your right hand your in the clear.

always take what he says and ask a Marine somewhere somehow to get some insight!

He may of been telling you that if you are not qualified otherwise.

If you don't have a degree that the AF is looking for, highly qualified on the AFOQT, and a perfect specimen of the human race...good luck on being a pilot.

I used to get that statement all the time..."I want to be a pilot". Ok sparky...so tell me how you'd be qualified?

Being an Officer is the right choice. You could probably get into the ROTC program. Help expadite the process. Good luck bro. Just remember If I see you in the future and I dont salute dont be mad. Im just 11 years older than you and Ive been in the Marines for 11 years. Never forget to treat your Enlisted well.
