I know there are quite a few different tires that they come with. In particular for these 17" rims:

Which brand tires did your Tacoma come with? Are the Dunlop tires any good?

Side note: Anyone know if these rims and tires will fit a 1998 Tacoma TRD 4x4?

I think it's generally accepted that the Dunlops that come on the steel rims are pretty much junk.

Weather Tech floor mats.
I dont know if any 4X4 truck in history has ever come with good tires. Maybe the F-150 Raptor with the BFG All Terrains, and Z71s used to come with Goodyear Wranglers that were not too bad, otherwise as much as I can remember the rest really suck.

Stock tires on vehicles almost always suck. Think of a stock tire as a 20,000 mile tire and whatever you replace it with (ie, BFG AT) is more like a 50,000+ tire.

The BFG lame terrains that came on my 09 double cab are to the first wear bars at 20k. The tread depth is much less than the well known BFG AT. I think the they (auto mfr) do it partly for economics (less material is less $$$) and mileage (lighter tires get better mileage).

That said, if your tires are spent, go get some good ones and skip these. If you just can't pass on the deal, just know they'll last less than 20k miles for you. Whereas, new typical replacement all terrain and most mud tires will last about 50k miles. Unless you go with some really soft mud tires like a Swamper, those wear fast. I have a set on my jeep, they're really loud too.

Bridgestone Duellers. They aren't bad for OEM. I'll probably keep them until they have to be replaced.
