How do you define 'fun to drive?' I have a corporate job and a Southern California commute. I'm pleased with how well my 2015 DCSB behaves in that role, but I'd never expect to get good lap times in a figure 8.

Years ago I had a 94 standard cab, 4x4 V6 5-speed. As someone said previously, it was a really nimble, go-anywhere setup.

Recognize that you can't get a sportscar ride and great offroad articulation in the same package.

My TRD Off Road does not handle like a sports car but my Corvette would be no good off road.

They each serve the intended purpose quite well.

Hehe, glad you got it. It's as sporty as a mid sized pickup can be. Depends what sporty means to you. My Sport 2014 double cab with supercharger stock setup, no big tires/lift leans a lot in the corners and isn't meant for that type of driving. It handles well enough and has a really big trunk and 4 seats. And curbs and dirt roads aren't a problem. It also gets up and goes now.

What do you want? That part is up to you. There are some nice lowered (not lowrider) Tacomas out there. I'm sure they are more sporty.

    Bro lean, HAHA!

None of them are fun to drive. It's a truck. (ok, maybe in the dirt)

My Mini Cooper S, or my M3 are fun to drive.

Good luck finding one. They are fun to drive. I'm not sure when they stopped offering the v6 with them. The 5 speed 4cyl is fun, you just won't win many races.

I drove this today. 6 speed manual. Got a little aggressive with it and salesman was very tolerant. Definitely more of a fun factor than the heavier trucks with automatic transmission. Last one I test drove was a DCLB last year and my sons DCSB. I am looking forward to test driving 2016's when they come out.
