Which cell phone holder are you using?

I have the scosche magic mount but my Note 8 has wireless charging and Ive found that If i place the magnet in the middle of the phone wireless charging doesn't work well so i moved the magnet down towards the bottom of the phone and so its not exactly balanced...anyone have ideas to avoid this??

 

Tackform cupholder mount. Just got in today, and it works for me.

 

never found a holder I've liked.

had the Hondo, removed it cus i need full vent movement.

had the ProClip (last 3 vehicles), removed it cus it's a hog.

tried the mobArmor and it was too weak and didn't mount where i wanted it.

i took pieces from the MobArmor and some homemade piece from TW and adhered then and came up with a perfect solution for me. fully adjustable, double the magnets from the MobArmor, and no blocking vents or views.

 

Went fancy and got the full Hondo setup, no regrets.

I use a cup holder cradle. The wire coming off the cradle goes to a weBoost 4G-X cell phone booster. It works really well out in the boonies.

 

I even use this for my iPad. Fantastic value for $15

 

Built an iPhone dock housing that fits in the square above main cupholder. It holds the phone nice & firm & keeps it from moving around. Plugs in though the backside of the housing & into the USB port.

 

Thanks all I went with the Scosche and used the tape to mount it on the dash.

With the magnetic mounts, does the plate on the phone interfere with the Qi charger?

 

If I put the plate in the middle of the case, yes it does. I have to put mine at the bottom. It holds but obviously not as balanced as could be so I have to be a little more careful over bumps

 

Another vote for Hondo and Ram mount. However, my ram mount squeaks and can get annoying.

 

I went with the scosch magic mount and mounted it on the flat part of the dash just above the top left corner of the radio. I love it so far, it is rock solid and definitely keeps my phone in place. I would highly recommend the mount.
