  2. Repaint the honeycomb

  3. Keep the billet, just repaint it

So I bought a chrome billet grill (Plastic surround/true billet insert) off of Craigslist. I purchased the grill knowing I would repaint it. But I am starting to rethink the billet all together and stay honeycomb.

Thinking of painting the plastic surround black (I couldn't ever color match the white) and maybe a gunmetal grey for the insert on the billet grill.

But once I installed the billet I think I actually may like what I had even better, just repaint the honeycomb grill.

    Any suggestions?

One of the two grills will be for sale soon so if anyone is interested let me know

I think you've got too much going on there. I say keep the stock grill and paint the toyota logo black. Let the focus be on the bumper and lights.

Factory one looks better. Then again I just dont like the look of billet grills on most vehicles. For the little bit that isnt blocked by the bumper and lights the original flows better IMO.

I think you all are right and I needed some confirmation of that. I got a smoking deal on that grill and figured it might be okay but I do believe I will retain the factory grill and just repaint that obnoxious red Toyota emblem
