Which crossbar???

2017 super white Trd Sport DCLB

I have been tryin to sort out the best way to mount my kayaks over my roof. I have a tool box and a rooftop tent on bars over the bed at cab height. If i stuff my kayaks in the bed i have no room for certain things like a bbq and other camping gear.
I have picked up a set of factory roof bars off craigslist. I was thinking about adding kayak J clamps to a couple of crossbars and just adding or removing the crossbars when needed. I could try and mount the J clamps on the factory bars but they wont be able to stay on when the bars are in the closed position. This picture is an example of what i am concidering doing.
Any suggestions on what kind of crossbars would lock into the front to back facing factory bars?
