Yea I did a bit of research before I made a decision on a bike and HD was just not doing it for me on the looks, performance, and price. I do like a hot chick on a nice street bike deff not a cruzer.

After looking at the pictures I still like the rippers, also they yanked the LP off the back. Looks a lot better, want to do it on my V like the newer ones.

Yea I do like the rippers myself and will probably end up with them in the end just want everyones opinion now though. That would look nice with the curves and lines of the V.

Prefer the look of the Rippers myself and/or also. I like the slash-cut going to the sides and they will probably help blow leaves off the driveway.

BTW, damn nice looking bike you have there. I really am liking the looks of the Victory bikes (besides the Vision). They seem to look like something you don't see everyday from another brand and have subtle touches that set them apart from the rest of the cruisers out there nowadays.

Thanks man. When I first saw the bike I was in love! Like you said the lines on this bike is like none other that you see everyday. The Vision is a bit much but still a great bike if it is your style. My dad and uncle are now looking into the Cross country and Cross country tour since I have got mine. My dad has a Vulcan 2000 classic LT and uncle a VTX 1300 both great riding and looking bikes but I have convinced them to join me.

Just to throw something else into the mix:

Could you cut the baffles off of the stock exhaust and have a set of slash-cuts formed and attached (welded-or slip-joint) and then get them baked with black crinkle finish? Or do the other pipes have baffles up the pipes? I'm just guessing they are a straight through/drag style pipe.

I could do that but it would have to be ceramic coated to handle the heat and with the money I would spend on doing that I might as well go aftermarket. Yes both set of pipes do have a core in them that acts as a small baffle. Pretty much straight though.
