I'm looking to make my first mod on my taco and would like some suggestions on which exhaust I should get, preferably under $100 so not a full exhaust system just something that will last and give me a good sound. I have been looking at Flowmaster 44 and 40 series and also a Aero Turbine 2525, has anyone installed any of these? How do they sound? thanks.

I have the Flowmaster American Thunder dual 50 series but its a cat-back system and I really like it. Nice deep sound to it.

I like the sound of my Magna flow. Watch some you tube videos, they will give you an idea of the sounds for each muffler.

Actually $400 isnt a bad price at all for a cat-back system but I know where you are coming from being young and all. Dont get any type of resonators and just save up for an actual muffler cause it will sound better and give you a little better performance.

get an AT2525xl. The resonator helps keep the drone down at highway speeds. I really like mine.

the at25252xl has a built in resonator. But if you go with the at2525 and a few months down the line you want it a lil quieter you can always add one.

If you go with any Aero turbine muffler buy it from Atom exhaust on ebay. Fast free shipping and great customer service.

Buy the XL model. It has the resonator built in. It helps get rid of the droaning exhaust note that happens at certain RPMs

I wouldn't mind a little noise in the cabin without the resonator, I want a loud rumble and a clean rumble which I can probably expect with the AT2525 and like yall said if I want it quieter down the line I can add the resonator. Thanks for the help guys.

None. It goes right in place of the stock muffler. If you can't weld any shop will put it in for $25.

I recommend dumping it right out of the muffler as well... Maybe with just 3" of pipe past the muffler or a turndown... that will give you the best sound/looks.
