Considering looks, ease of care and durability..... do you prefer chrome or polished aluminum in a wheel? I won't be wheelin' it much, if at all, so I'm not worried at durability in that respect.

Sorry, but "blacked out" isn't an option for this poll. Sometimes, they look nice on the right truck, but not for me.

Chrome since its easy to clean and re-polishing polished aluminum wheels is a real bitch!

I'd have to go with polished aluminum. Hands down, it gets the vote for me. If you can handle some elbow grease every now and then, it pays off big. Chrome is just way too much flash for me, and IMO screams 'cheap.'

Now with that said, don't forget how much of a pain in the ass it is to polish aluminum wheels.

Polished Alum. Soap & water is all that is needed to keep them shiny. The carwash does great. I've never used any polish on them ever. Had them since 2005, when I bought the truck.

Depends on the vehicle... I like the polished that came on my truck, and doubt I'd go chrome. I would, however, consider the right aftermarket polished/black combo wheel...

Chrome looks GREAT on many, if not most vehicles. Just depends on the vehicle, color, mods, etc., IMO.

I found these in a mag while sitting in the waiting room getting my alarm installed...

    www.hipnoticwheels.com

Portions of the wheels are removable, so they can be painted etc... Maybe this is common, as Im far from "up" on all the wheels and aftermarket mods...but I really think the "C-Note" would look good on my truck with the matching red & black:)

While on that site, try the Wheel Customizer...pretty cool, as you can change the colors of each individual part of the wheel below... wonder what the price tag on these would be...
