idk. i like the power i have a bit to much at times. and my bed will never rust! and my frame is less likely to rust as well. :p if i was to trade it would be for a Speed way blue taco or FJ cruiser.

For me, it's a tie between the 95-97 & the 01-04 front ends. Both look great completely stock or altered. There's something about the 98-00 front ends that make them look watered down somewhat IMO.

Off topic, I never really liked ANY 2nd gen front end..........until the '12 came out. Man, what a mean looking front end on those!

    Here is my personal 95.5:

COMING SOON: installing the ONLY 95-97 HomerTaco Satoshi grill ever made. :D

    Great thread BTW!

I like them all, but there has never been and will never be, another like the '01-'04. And yes I own one, but even before I owned one, they were my fav of any truck, from any manufacturer.

I'm trying to remember the sequence. My wife bought (before we were married) a 1985 4X4 Toyota pickup (did they name them then?). It may or may not have been an extracab, can't remember. I think in '93 we swapped it for a for sure Extracab 4X4 and beat that one to death. Donated it after 200K miles (this was before Craigslist reared it's head). Now, last week, I got a 2004 PreRunner Xtracab and it's a beauty. I much prefer the styling of the 2004 to the ones that came later.

I like the 98 front end. I think it's rugged and sexy at the same time!

That's a really clean truck, but the 350 swap kills it for me
