I'm installing the daytime running lights - not LED - in the front using the push button switch that mounts in the blank to the left of the steering wheel (Not the factorheadlight switch). Going to use the "add a fuse" for power, but I want it only to be powered when the key is on. Which existing fuse outlet is recommended, or not recommended, for this?

    Thanks.

Lol.. please don't caribe, thousands of Tacoma electricals will shut down.

OP you are under the hood when you should be under the dash.
Or you could use the 10a DRL fuse - that would make sense.

I would like to take a moment to remove myself from the human race. While Darwin awards are not far away, it would be in the best interest of everyone if I could step unto a time machine and to back to the second I created my first post and give myself a solid punch in the face.

Clearly, I had it in my head that there was only the one fuse box. After looking at the best seller owners manual that i received with the purchase of my truck, i was able to identify where the internal fuse box was located and... you ain't gonna believe this... it looks JUST like the picture that was originally posted.

Now, if y'all excuse me, I have to get back to my wiring. o_O

    Thanks for setting me straight.
