    I know OP asked about glocks, but I've really liked my Ruger SR9c after shooting both. Runner-up for me was the Smith&Wesson M&P 9 Shield. I guess I'm just not a glock guy after trying them all.

    Glock 43 is a good carry gun. I carry it everyday. But the 19 is nice too. Just get both

    none yet/none planned! It's perfect!
    Mine was a G23 then a G27 then a G42 and last a G43. Consider the G43 to be the Ultimate Carry gun with a +1 extension. Small enough to carry anywhere, big enough caliber to be effective and enough ammo to hopefully get you to safety.
