Which iPad should I get?

Amen. I love the idea of the iPad but 1k is just too much for only 64 gigs of HD space and the lack of many features. Ill wait a year for them to add flash and bring up the HD space to 100gigs, then Ill consider it.

 

Very true. However my parents are very computer ileterate. Or however you spell it. After 2 years my mom is still trying to figure out how to copy and paste a picture into a different folder. No lies.

So this should be good enough for them. I figure if they come out with a better one like you guys say, which they will, then they can either sell it or just buy another one. The next one might even have a camera. That would be nice.

 

Yea for what your using it for, this is perfect. It'll definitely make live easier on him as he'll be able to organize it all and have some enterntainment. Computer aficionados, however, will bitch about the lack of flash and blah blah blah.

 

What is flash? A type of movie format right? Like on an iPhone you can't watch some videos on the Internet...?

 

It's a software. Think of it as a tool that your computer uses to interpret and read movie files online, amongst many other things. . It also allows your computer to read interactive pieces online, like a game, or an interactive diagram.

I have a feeling that these things are going to change stuff. The case you can buy for them makes them look like a little portfolio that you can carry around. Apple is going to do good with these.

 

If your gonna spend the money, get the bells and whistles. The extra 100 bucks for the larger capacity just means your not gonna be wishing later. Been looking at them myself. Probably gonna wait a few months to see if any changes from the first release. Either that or go ahead and buy a newer dual drive laptop for some serious bucks. Love my apple.

 

Oh you mean one from HP that has connectivity to everything such as USB connection, etc? Me too. I do, however, think that nearly everything that Apple makes is sexy! I owned an iphone for a while - sexy but not as open and useful as others.

 

I ended up ordering the 64gig 3g. Ordered extras too. Came out to about $1,060. Should get it in about two weeks.
