Personally I like the black the best. I've really been wanting to put some lights behind the grill. Im worried too much light would be blocked behind the billet's lines. Anyone done it?

I have a billet one... I'd rather have a black satoshi. I might black out my billet one just for shits and giggles

Yeah. Sotoshi prolly looks the best. I bought my truck with billet. I think I like the black billet because it looks closer to the sotoshi look. Sotoshi works good with lights behind it too.

Also... I know I've seen a 1st gen here with lights behind a billet grille. While obviously putting anything in front of a light will block some of the light, it didn't cause any more issue than a satoshi would.

It seems like there is less mass in the satoshi then the billet.
