1st gen baby! represent! i like how clean and simple my engine bay looks everything is easy to understand and simple to work on and easy to access, the new 2nd gen engines have a weird plastic cover over the engine and im not sure how everything works, my 1st gen i can tell what everything is by looking at it even though im not a mechanically inclined individual, the 2nd gens are covered up by some type of plastic cover and look complicated and seems like you would need a computer more than a wrench to work on it. but thats just my opinion.

2nd gen will always be my favourite. The 1st gen is a close 2nd but I've been around mine for 10 years, along with a 4th gen 4Runner so I'm definitely biasedimage.jpg
My mom had a 1st gen Tacoma years ago (2.7) and it still felt quicker than my dads new 4Runner

Before you throw your money around, look at your options first.

The one in the picture is All Pro but there's also Relentless Fabrication and Pelfreybuilt is going to build a brand new one for 1st gens also.

Random fact, the only true bulletproof part of a car is the engines iron block. The rest, most bullets fly right through.

Man I cannot stop looking at your Tacoma. It looks like you maybe have Icons? Do you have a build page?

The second gens have definetly grown on me over the years, especially the 12'-15' redesign. Plus all the aftermarket stuff available for them makes me a little jealous.

But I mean come on......look at that face
