Seriously. I either should've gotten the 886s or just stayed away from OME. What did you put the eibachs on? Do they come with a shock?

If that winch is heavy, you might want to adjust the coil overs just a tad to make up for the sag

700 is the way to go. I only have sliders and skids and they are jarring at all

Okay so I'm set on Kings. I'd like to get the extended travel ones or is that overkill if I'm not rock crawling? I really just drive over bumpy ass rocky roads with some minor hill climbing on muddy rocks.
I'm still deciding between 650 and 700 coils. Might just go with the 650s until I fab my bumper and then swap out to 700s.

I'd also like to grab some uniball UCAs. Any suggestions on brand? I've been eyeing some camburgs out for a while.

Part numbers would be amazing as well.

    Thanks for the help everyone.

I’m running total chaos here but you gotta keep them lubed up. Or the uniball will sound terrible. Most seem to be running SPC or JBA now adays. If you plan on getting UCAs you should just go extended travel anyways.

22.5" both fronts hub to center.
I've got a buddy at work with a stock TRD. I'll try getting hub to fender measurements on his tomorrow. There's no way I'm only on a 1.5" lift with 888 coils.

When I had 5100s preloaded to 1.55" lift with my 265/70/17 tires I was consistently at 37" ground to fender.
I'm at 37.5" ground to fender with the exact same tires morning, day and night.

    That’s exactly what I measure at with my 700# Eibachs. It’s 1.5”.

I had the 2888 coils and sat at that exactly also.

The 2888 coil is a 590# coil. The 3rd gen requires at least 650# due to it being a 300lb heavier front end that also sticks out farther from of the front tire to the very top of the nose. I ran the same medium OME setup. It’s preloaded to the tits (on the OME setup) for overlanders and is harsh. It sags in 6-months and thank God it does because it about rattles the teeth out of your head on the potholes from top-out.

14” 700# coils ride amazing on these trucks once they break in

    I can't believe that 22.5" would be a 1.5" lift because 5100s on the 4th notch is 1.55"

This is what it looked like on the 4th notch

I’d have to lay these shots on top of each other in photoshop, but...Looks the same to me. You also have a bedrack on in one.

Whatever it is, it’s negligible. There is no difference in 1.5 vs 2”. It’s literally a finger width. If anything. 1.5” will ride nicer, but both will perform evenly, offroad, for the common driver

I have a 1" lift in the top picture and HD Dakars in the bottom picture. The rack doesn't do anything to my suspension.

Also my measurements have changed half an inch from picture to picture lol.

That proves my point even more.

The HD Dakars give it a “racier” look to me. I like a little rake

You're getting some good advice here. start by removing the leaf from your HD to make them the medium duty. you'll lose 1/2" and they'll ride soooo much better without much load. (The HD's need like 300-600 lbs to ride level and smooth). then put your extended length king's with 650 lb coils to about 2" lift in front. get some UCA's of your choice to get the extra droop and call it a day. You'll be very happy with the result.

Definitely dig the rake. But yeah the ride quality ain't bad right now but I've been contemplating removing a leaf.

Why not just get the new 3.0s from king  i have the 2.5s

If you are gng to add skids, steel bumper, winch, 2 batteries, 700lb is what u need. I have all the above plus a few other things and i reached a point were the coils started to sag, so had to add preload and redistribute some of the weight

I MIGHT add a steel bumper in like 3 years so for now I'm not planning around having weight up front.

The 2.5s are already overkill in my opinion but I'm sick of these OME 888/5100 cheap ass shit already. Lift is sagging. Just trying to get on some adjustable coilovers.
I don't rock crawl. I don't race through the desert on washboards. I just drive on our countries crappiest roads and play around in the sand and bumpy/rocky trails.
