These are a pair of my leds , but they arent the newest ones. I have 60amber leds that are nice and bright now. These work for 05-11dtrl models. Still working on a brighter answer for the 12 &13.

Probably a dumb question but here goes...

I hate the way the DTRL's make the light housing look yellow (when they are off) because of the yellow bulb. I can buy "stealth" bulbs for my car's turn signals that look white but are yellow when on. Would the LED's solve this?

Full LED conversion interior and exterior. Relentless Fabrication front and rear bumpers. 4X4innovation sliders. BAMF bed rack. CVT rooftop tent.
Depending of course on the type of LED system you are looking at, I have learned that a good way to tell which ones are brighter are if you can find out the specific SMD type. For instance a 3528 LED is slightly smaller, and less bright than the 5050 which are slightly larger and more bright. Most of all the LED work that I do are strips and cluster mods, so I have learned to check before I ordered any bulbs.

Sorry I guess I missunderstood what you mean by direct replacements. You don't need to modify anything if that is what you mean. But yes, resistors or a new flasher is needed.

As far as I know the dtrl models dont have a flasher for them. Unless something recently has changed. Remember though that the ddtrls and turnsignals are the same light, so if your gonna go white make sure the turns are amber. Most states white turns are illegal.
