I am on the fence about debadging my tailgate...Which looks better in your opinion? Badges or no badges?

I like the debadged or less badges look. I took all of mine off including the factory TRD Sport stickers (except the door badges that I PlastiDipped black) and put on a black TRD badge where the V6 badge was.

Less badges does look better in my opinion. I also like satin or flat black badges.

Definitely less badges, but I'm not a fan of a debadged truck either. I'd say leave the important stuff like Tacoma & V6, or add your own how you see fit

i think the badges and stickers detract from the look of the truck.

took all mine off and the trd sport decals within the first month.

the badges arnt important in any way (even the V6 and tacoma emblems as mentioned above).

I took off all but "tacoma" on the tailgate, and
    removed badges from doors.

I'm a proponent of leaving the badges on, my son always takes his off. I'm old, he's young.... what do I know?

Is it tricky to remove the badges? Also have a white Tacoma and have thought of doing this

I like the badges, esp the TRD decals.

But if I were to take them off Id want a big toyota decal on the tailgate.

I like them kept on, but just not in chrome. Shit, I want more on mine infact! I want the 4x4 badges that came on the previous model Tundras (I don't think its the same as they now have the tailgate "stamped" in, which I absolutely love).

It really is a matter of personal preference. It is your truck after all, and if you think it looks cool, then it is. If you can't decide for yourself and could be swayed either way, then leave it! But I would say that if you do debadge, you gotta do the doors too rather than just the tailgate!

I went badge-less on mines. I like the clean look and it's easier to polish/wax the truck as well. The only thing I don't like about my debadged tailgate is the black handle that stick out like a sore thumb now. I'm probably going paint it to color match the truck.

    Less badges.
The tailgate looks like a billboard.
    I'd like just a Tacoma 4x4 badge

I voted badgeless, but I've had my truck a year and still have all the badges. I need to get on that.

Looks much cleaner. Everyone already knows you have a dope truck just from the look of it. There is no need for the advertising. If they have to ask what kind of truck that is..........
