You know, I was afraid of that. Everyone promises quality so much that it's become somewhat of a cliche. But from the results on the poll, it appears that it still carries some weight.

Aman Heat and Air.. You could be like a Super Hero in the YP, have Ice sickles coming from one hand and heat wave coming from the other.
Potrays "Help to the rescue when needed most". The A is for grade A service/Air. Maybe Airman Heat and Air.

Or Amen Heat and Air, if you have other guys working for you. Say's the job is done before you get started. And an ending to their (customers) prayer/call for help.

You could find someone to draw you up some character or characters for the add. Have him be cool and hot for the ladies :D jk.

That's my take, might be a little different and deeper than most. But it'll get you in the front of the YP and be catchy. And if you're gona dump money into the YP, you might as well stand out.

No offense but all the names I hear are, too all the same, if you've heard one, you've heard them all.

LOL, thanks for your feedback and creative name ideas. You know, it's hard to explain but we expect that the majority of our customers are going to be hard conservatives, so we need the name to be subtle and elegant, so to not "scare them away," I hope this make sense.

Personally don't think they would be "scared", nothing too crazy there, if you did it the "right" way. And you might have yourself pinned in a corner market trying to cater to one group, they're not the only ones with heat and air units needing to be fixed. I have found when people think outside the box and don't stick to the safe norm, if done correctly can rise above the rest. Everyones different tho.
But suit yourself, best of luck to you and your business.

It sounds good, and make sure that you put an * with the same day service that it's for service call only not for repair, you'd be amazed how people will be about things like that!

Also when people call in make sure you ask how they found you so you can keep track of advertising that works and does not work. If you post in the Penny Saver (i think that is still around) they are the worst clients, very cheap and bitch about everything!

Definitely great advise! I'm also planing to set up tracking numbers. That way I can monitor all my calls and be able to determine which marketing venue is producing the best results.
